Project description
“Research skills for the economy” is a program to develop and expand skills in companies. In addition, company-relevant research focuses are anchored in Austrian research institutions.
The main goal of the ClimaNET training network was the development and implementation of tailor-made higher qualification measures in the area of climate change adaptation with regard to “building and living”.
At the beginning, the content of the qualification measures addressed the theoretical background of climate change in order to create an understanding of the climatic processes and their consequences. In the further course, more practice-relevant topics were discussed and a connection between theory and practice was established.
In partly intensive discussion rounds, the participants interactively dealt with the issues examined. In semester projects, the individual participants worked on specifically relevant topics. With this, the desired independent examination of the topic of climate change and climate change adaptation was achieved.
At the end of the project, the qualification content and knowledge of the qualification measures were prepared for the partners involved and available on a common data platform.
